Following the huge impact of COVID-19 worldwide on the travel, tourism, events and hospitality industry, we have been busy in the background achieving some fantastic results.

Since the end of March, we have undertaken five external ISO audits & certifications in the following areas:

ISO9001 (Quality)

ISO27001 (Security)

ISO22301 (Business Continuity)

ISO14001 (Environment)

Cyber Essentials          

As a company, we are exceptionally proud that - in spite of what have been very testing months - our standards in all areas of our business have continued to improve; with each audit having been successfully passed and certification guaranteed for a further 12 months.

From the external audits undertaken, two best practices were identified and positive comments provided in the following areas:

Leadership

  • The top management have gone above and beyond what is required by the Standard in ensuring the safety of staff and in relation to customer focus and assistance
  • Top management have mitigated risk to the solvency of the company by utilizing opportunities to retain key accounts and build
  • Top management have created a positive culture, valuing employees, recognizing achievement with compliance, promoting a positive strategy for change and improvement

Training and Support

  • The company has gone above and beyond what is required by the Standard for new employees and been able to demonstrate a supportive and thorough documented training programme
  • The company has an inclusive and engaging employee relationship with new starters ensuring the commencement and progression into the company is a two-way conversation                                                    

Calder remain committed to offering exceptional customer service and this has been cemented in our most recent audit results during these ever-changing times our industry finds itself in.
